Inspired by the form of an orchid, its elongated 18K yellow gold case is framed by diamonds across the bezel and lugs, while a rich blue topaz crystal brings an unexpected flash of color to the design. Its C-series serial places this example in the early to mid-1980s.\u003c\/h5\u003e\u003ch5\u003e\u003c\/h5\u003e\u003ch5\u003eAt 19mm x 30mm and just 7mm thick, the watch is petite in dimension but surprisingly substantial on the wrist. Nearly 60 grams of 18K gold gives it remarkable weight for a ladies watch, much of it coming from what appears to be an exceptionally rare, possibly unique chainmail-style bracelet. The bracelet is finished with an unusual double deployant clasp, while the absence of a conventional crown keeps the case uninterrupted, with the watch instead set discreetly from the caseback.\u003c\/h5\u003e\u003ch5\u003e\u003c\/h5\u003e\u003ch5\u003eWe have never seen another Baroque in this configuration come to market, and it is entirely possible we may never see another.
