While Rare Wrist was officially founded in 2024, our story began long before that.

Our founder has spent years as an active collector of luxury and vintage watches, buying, selling, and sourcing exceptional timepieces through dealers, private collectors, and auction houses around the world. What started as a personal passion eventually evolved into Rare Wrist, a company built around a deep appreciation for watchmaking, originality, and trust.

Over the past decade, our founder has worked as a watch specialist and authenticator for some of the largest secondary market watch retailers and consignment companies in the industry. During that time, he has personally authenticated, evaluated, priced, and cataloged well over nine figures worth of luxury watches from brands including Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Omega, Breguet, Cartier, and many others. He has also helped collectors source rare and hard-to-find pieces, ranging from modern references to highly collectible vintage examples.
