Are prices negotiable?

If you are really interested in a piece but the price is a little too high, shoot us an email at contact@rare-wrist.com. Some watches may be open to fair offers.

How do I purchase/pay?

We accept all major forms of credit cards and bank wire/transfer. All credit card payments are scanned for fraud by our third-party processor (can take up to 24 hours). Payment might show as pending during this time period, but rest-assured your order has been placed and we will contact you shortly if otherwise. If paid through bank-wire (preferred) we will wait until the wire fully clears before shipping out your watch. We also take every major cryptocurrency. If you prefer to pay via cryptocurrency, please reach out to us prior to purchasing.

Do watches come serviced? 

We sell watches in as-is running condition unless specified otherwise. We offer no timekeeping warranty on watches, and suggest to have your watches serviced when you see fit. Please view every product description to see individual timekeeping notes. We also provide a timegraph reading on all mechanical watches in crown-down position. Please note that this is a courtesy reading done at the listing of the watch and readings may change over time. 

At your expense/request, we can have any of our watches serviced by our watchmaker/horologist with decades of experience. Fees may vary based on watch and required servicing. Please send us a message and we will be happy to quote you. 

Vintage and second-hand watches are also likely not water-resistant to their original rating. We suggest you consult a local watchmaker before bringing your watch in or near water. 

Any watchmaker work or new wear/damage to the watch will void our 5-day refund policy.

How are watches authenticated?

We take authenticity very seriously. Our trained watch specialist inspects every watch internally and externally before listing. We fully stand behind the authenticity of our watches, and provide a 5-day inspection period on all watches. View our full guarantee and refund policy here.

How do you care for your new vintage watch?

While vintage watches, especially mechanical ones, are intended for wearing, they are also delicate compared to their modern counterparts. View our full care guide here. 

Shipping

Shipping/handling speeds?

After payment is fully cleared, we ship all watches within 2 business days via UPS. Orders $2,500 USD and above ship free via UPS Next Day Air Saver. Orders $2,500 USD and below ship free via UPS 2nd Day. Signature confirmation will be required upon delivery- P.O. Boxes are not able to be shipped to. All packages are shipped from New Jersey. 

Are watch shipments insured?

Yes, every single shipment is shipped express and fully insured by our third-party provider. We offer this completely free on all orders within the United States. 

Do you offer worldwide shipping?

Yes, we offer free worldwide express shipping on orders $2,500 USD and above. A flat rate $50 fee will be charged to orders $2,500 USD and below. Rates may vary.

How are watches packed?

All watches ship double-boxed in our custom Rare Wrist vegan leather boxes to stay safe during shipment for free.
