Our Perspective:

A circa 1973 Omega ladies’ wristwatch that beautifully blurs the line between fine jewelry and horology. Crafted in solid 14k yellow gold, the elegant 25 x 19.5mm case measures a slim 7mm thick, giving the watch a refined, understated presence on the wrist. Its standout feature is the rare and truly unique opal mosaic dial, whose natural variations and vibrant play of color elevate the piece well beyond a traditional dress watch. Composed of individually cut sections of opal arranged in a mosaic pattern, each dial is entirely unique, creating an almost puzzle-like appearance that ensures no two examples are exactly alike.
Integrated into a matching 14k yellow gold textured bracelet sized to fit wrists up to 5.5 inches, the watch presents as a cohesive jewelry piece. Powering the watch is Omega’s manually wound Caliber 1070, a compact and reliable movement representative of the brand’s quality craftsmanship during the period. Weighing 28.94 grams in total, this is a distinctive vintage Omega that combines precious materials, uncommon dial artistry, and timeless design.
