Chopard is no stranger to blending fine jewelry with watchmaking, and few collections embody that philosophy better than the famous Happy Diamonds line.
This early 1990s reference 5089-5 does exactly that, featuring a solid 18k yellow gold 25x25mm case measuring just 6mm thick and integrated into a matching 18k yellow gold bracelet. The star of the show is undoubtedly the striking black onyx dial, contrasted by 10 large natural floating diamonds that move freely beneath the crystal, creating a display that is as playful as it is luxurious.
This watch represents the collection in its purest form. The deep black onyx dial provides the perfect backdrop for the floating diamonds, allowing them to command attention without overwhelming the design. Presented in very nice overall condition, it is a beautiful example of one of Chopard's most iconic creations and a reminder of why the Happy Diamonds collection remains so beloved today.

Case: Shows signs of regular wear with medium scratches and dents throughout. Case shows minor patina visible.
Strap/Bracelet: Chopard 18K yellow gold integrated bracelet is in excellent condition with light scratches and patina throughout. Original diamond-set Chopard foldover clasp has light scratches and is signed L.U.C. & 750. Fits a maximum wrist size of 6".
Dial/Crystal/Hands: Light scratches on sapphire crystal. Onyx dial is is excellent condition, minor surface wear may be visible under magnification. Inner gold dial has light oxidation/patina throughout.
Movement: Manual-winding Chopard Caliber winds, sets, and runs at the time of cataloging; however, a service is recommended for optimal performance and accurate timekeeping. Watch has a 5-position average of +93.9 S/D | 192° AMP | 0.3 MS BE.
