Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Watch

Our Perspective:

There's no doubt that the Royal Oak is Audemars Piguet's most popular and coveted model: usually defined by it's fixed octagonal bezel, Tapisserie dial and integrated bracelet. The reference 14800SA has all of these, except for one. This reference, unlike most other Royal Oaks, was designed to fit solely on a strap instead of a bracelet for the first time. If you're looking for a vintage or neo-vintage Royal Oak on a strap, the 14800 family is the only option. 

This example is even more special as it comes in all original condition with 3 proprietary straps (which are notoriously difficult to find), a beautiful mint condition grey Petite Tapisserie dial and the more rare AP double logo deployant clasp. 

Condition Report:

Very Good overall condition. Case and bezel show moderate scratches and minor indentations throughout. Dial, crystal and hands are in near-mint original condition with no signs of wear except for light patina at 8 o'clock hour marker. Includes slightly used green and brown and a brand new burgundy Audemars Piguet strap (3 total).

Watch occasionally has minor difficulty when setting time due to the crown not fully engaging/slipping- although it always fixes itself shortly after, service is still recommended for optimal performance (this issue does not affect accuracy or timekeeping).
