Bvlgari Diagono AC38TA Aluminum Chronograph Limited Edition Red Dial Watch

Our Perspective:

First introduced in 1998, the Bvlgari Aluminum quickly became one of the brand's most recognizable modern designs. While Bvlgari is best known for its roots in high jewelry, the Aluminum collection challenged traditional luxury watchmaking by combining lightweight aluminum and rubber with distinctive Italian design. The signature bezel, inspired by the original Gérald Genta-designed Diagono, resembles an ancient Roman coin and remains one of the collection's defining features.

This limited edition chronograph from the early 2000s features a 38mm aluminum and rubber case and is one of just 777 pieces produced for the Italian market. The vibrant red dial gives the watch a bold, sporty character while maintaining excellent legibility, perfectly complementing its lightweight construction and automatic chronograph movement. As limited editions become increasingly difficult to source, this reference stands out as one of the more distinctive and collectible executions of the iconic Aluminum/Diagono line.

Case: Light scratches and small dents throughout case. Bezel is in excellent condition.

Strap/Bracelet: Original Bvlgari Rubber strap shows minor signs of wear. Fits a maximum wrist size of 7.5".

Dial/Crystal/Hands: In well-preserved condition with no visible signs of damage/wear.

Movement: Automatic Bvlgari Caliber 080 winds, sets and runs at a 5-position average of -7.4 S/D | 238° AMP | 0.4MS BE.
