First introduced in 1998, the Bvlgari Aluminum quickly became one of the brand's most recognizable modern designs. While Bvlgari is best known for its roots in high jewelry, the Aluminum collection demonstrated the company's willingness to challenge traditional luxury watchmaking by combining unconventional materials with distinctive Italian design. The signature bezel, inspired by the original Gérald Genta-designed Diagono, resembles an ancient Roman coin and remains one of the collection's defining features.

This 2020s example features a 40mm aluminum and rubber case measuring 11mm thick, making it one of the lightest and most comfortable chronographs available at its price point. The striking "panda" dial provides strong contrast and excellent legibility, while the automatic Bvlgari Cal. BVL130 (ETA 2894 base) delivers reliable chronograph and date functionality. Originally retailing for $4,800, the watch represents a compelling entry into modern luxury sports watches.

The watch was previously owned by American skateboarder, actor, and model Evan Mock, as confirmed by the caseback inscription.
