First introduced globally in 2010 as the SBGA011, the "Snowflake" (named after the textured white dial) quickly became the most popular Grand Seiko model in their catalog. In 2017, Grand Seiko became a stand-alone brand from Seiko and released the updated Snowflake- the SBGA211. This watch shares all the same features but removes the "Seiko" parent branding at 12 o'clock. With it's lightweight high-intensity titanium case, beautiful Zaratsu polishing, blued steel seconds hand and 9R65 Spring Drive movement, it's easy to see why it's one of the most sought-after modern Grand Seiko models.
