There's many reasons why Jaeger-LeCoultre is referred to as "The Watchmaker of Watchmakers" and this watch is one of them. Despite its playful bottle-cap shape, it boasts the renowned JLC Caliber 818/2 movement, which has been used and adapted in Cartier, Vacheron Constantin, Chopard and Breguet watches over the years. Furthermore, this timepiece is exceptionally unique, as it is made of 800 Silver- a rare occurrence in watchmaking and comes complete with a JLC signed crown, strap and buckle. This is a watch we have never seen before and one you are unlikely to ever see again.
Condition Report:
Very good vintage condition. Case shows signs of general wear and tarnish with light scratches and indentations throughout. There is light plating wear near the caseback that is not visible when wearing. Dial, hands and crystal are in mint condition with no marks. JLC strap is slightly worn. Movement is free from rust and damage. Watch was recently serviced and meets expected vintage timekeeping standards.
