Cartier Must de Cartier Vendôme Ladies Watch

Our Perspective:

Cartier's Must de Cartier line was established in the 1973. For most of the line, Cartier opted to use 18K Vermeil (Real 18K Gold over Sterling silver) for their watch cases compared to their solid gold counterparts, and quartz movements instead of mechanical. This allowed Cartier to lower the retail price of these watches and to offer a more accessible option to the Maison's higher priced watches and accessories. Many Must de Cartier's were worn heavily over the past decades, causing the gold-plating to wear off, however, this watch was barely worn- with a pristine dial, case and even the sticker still present on the caseback. 

Condition Report:

Near Mint vintage condition. Case has faint handling wear with original sticker still visible on caseback. Dial and hands are in near-mint condition with no signs of wear. Crystal has faint hairline scratches near edge. Original Cartier strap has light wear. Original Cartier tang buckle is in great condition. Movement is free from rust and damage and meets expected timekeeping standards.
