Our Perspective:

Hans Erni, often called the Picasso of Switzerland, was a talented Swiss graphic designer, painter, illustrator, engraver and sculptor. In this rare Piaget collaboration, his canvas finds form on a deep black onyx dial with a solid gold dove mid-flight hovering above an abstract hourglass.
Inside this piece of art is another piece of art: the famous manual-winding ultra-thin Piaget Caliber 9P2.
Commissioned in the 1970s/1980s, this limited series was Piaget at its most artistically ambitious. Like its Warhol and Dali counterparts, the Erni watches were produced in very small numbers, each one hand-engraved. While we've seen a few cushion case and round examples of this watch before, we've never seen a round version with the Piaget signature at 12 o'clock. This is a watch you might never see again.
