This Piaget is one of those rare watches that doesn’t look quite like anything else in the market. Its tapered white gold case, wider at the top and narrowing toward the wrist, has a sculptural, wedge-like feel. But in classic Piaget fashion, it’s executed with elegance and beauty.
The case design is especially interesting, featuring a single oversized rose gold "lug" at the top and two cube-like lugs at the bottom. That same geometric cube motif is repeated with the crown, tying the whole design together in a subtle way.
The cream dial is just as thoughtful, with a vertically brushed center, smooth outer ring, and eight raised lapis lazuli stones adding a pop of color. Rose gold dauphine hands mirror the top lug, completing the look.
Powered by the famous, ultra-thin Piaget 9P2 manual movement and paired with its original leather strap and white gold Piaget buckle, this isn’t your typical 1990s dress watch. Which, of course, is exactly the point. Quirky, elegant, and quietly luxurious- it's for someone who values design with personality.
Condition Report:
Very Good vintage condition. Light scratches and small indentations throughout case and bezel. Rhodium plating slightly worn on bezel. Original Piaget strap shows moderate creasing and wear. Original Piaget 18K white gold buckle has light scratches. Watch has been recently serviced and meets expected timekeeping standards.
