Rolex Datejust "Tapestry" Watch

Our Perspective:

A watch that needs no introduction. The Datejust was originally launched in 1945 and went through many iterations- all staying relatively true to the original design. This specific model debuted in 1988 as an upgraded version of the popular 16013 reference, featuring for the first time, a sapphire crystal and the new 3135 movement. What we love the most about the watch is the near perfect champagne tapestry dial often referred to as the "American Psycho" and the thoughtful engraving from 1989 on the caseback. 

Condition Report:

Good vintage condition. Watch has been previously polished. Case and bezel have moderate scratches and indentations throughout. Jubilee bracelet has heavy stretch and wear. Genuine Rolex sapphire service crystal with LEC. Caseback is engraved "Forever, Love Pat 12-25-89". Watch was recently professionally serviced in 2024 and meets expected timekeeping standards.
