A watch that needs no introduction. The Datejust was originally launched in 1945 and went through many iterations- all staying relatively true to the original design. This specific model debuted in the late 80s as next-generation Datejust model with an upgraded caliber 3135 movement with quickset date and a sapphire crystal. The 16203 provides a slightly more casual option compared to it's brother (the 16233 with fluted bezel) but still provides all the common Rolex design language that you expect to see. What we love the most about the watch is the near perfect champagne tapestry dial with still bright Luminova, the sharp lugs and the original caseback sticker still present on the watch.
Condition Report:
Very Good vintage condition. Watch shows very light signs of previous polish, most noticeably on the crown. Watch has minor to moderate scratches throughout the case and bracelet, but is still in excellent overall condition without any major dents or signs of wear. Case and lugs are still extremely sharp and original sticker is still present on caseback. Original sapphire crystal has light chips throughout. Watch meets expected timekeeping standards. We can provide a crystal change if needed, please reach out to us for a quote prior to purchasing.
