A watch that needs no introduction. The Datejust was originally launched in 1945 and went through many iterations- all staying relatively true to the original design. This particular model is the first quickset Datejust (meaning the date could be easily changed instead of cycling the time 24 hours). While this reference is extremely common, it is very difficult to find in this condition- with little to no signs of wear. This Datejust also features a covetable Champagne "Ghost" dial, which means the dial text becomes invisible in certain lighting.
Condition Report:
Near-Mint vintage condition. Watch was previously lightly polished. Case has faint handling wear with extremely sharp lugs and bezel flutes. There are no visible scratches or indentations on the case and bezel. Caseback shows very light handling wear. Dial shows very faint spotting barely noticeable to the naked eye. Hands have light wear and patina at lume. Acrylic crystal is free from any scratches and chips. Jubilee bracelet has light stretch and faint scratches. Watch was recently professionally serviced and meets expected vintage timekeeping standards.
