Our Perspective: 

The Oyster Perpetual Date is the younger sibling to the Datejust, but on the wrist it doesn’t feel like a step down. You still get the same core look, Jubilee bracelet, smooth bezel, date at 3, just in a 34mm case that honestly wears very similar to a 36mm Datejust, especially with the bracelet.
This Ref. 15000 dates to 1989 and is in standout condition for its age. The bracelet is tight, the case is still sharp, and it comes with its original papers, which is getting harder to find on these. It’s just been fully serviced and polished, so it’s ready to be worn without a second thought.

Condition Report:

Case: Recently received a full refinish/polish. Case is in strong condition with thick lugs and light signs of wear. L serial dates to 1989 which matches bracelet clasp code and paper date. Minor nicks on caseback.
Strap/Bracelet: Original Rolex stainless steel Jubilee bracelet has 18 links and fits a wrist size of 7.25" or smaller. Bracelet has light stretch, but is still very tight given the age. Light signs of wear. N clasp code dated to 1989, matching case and papers.
Dial/Crystal/Hands: Original Rolex tritium dial and hands are in near-mint condition with no visible damage. Watch has received a brand new acrylic crystal (non-Rolex).
Movement: Automatic Rolex Caliber 3035 is in beautiful aesthetic condition and has a 5-position average of +5 S/D | 252° AMP | 0.2MS BE. All complications and functions work as intended. Watch received a full service in 2026 and is running well.
Watch comes with it's original AD serialized papers dated 1989.
