While at first glance this may appear to be a normal stainless steel silver dial Seiko, it's anything but that. This watch was made in the late 1960s to assist the visually-impaired with telling time by allowing the wearer to flip open the crystal and feel the time. This model features a textured metal dial that prevents fingerprints, screwed down hands for stability, and a manual winding Seiko Cal. 6618. This example is even more special, as it comes with an original black leather Seiko strap and still remains 90% of it's dial text (that is usually rubbed off due to constant touching of the dial).
Condition Report:
Very Good vintage condition. Case shows moderate scratches throughout. Dial text shows minor fading. Original Seiko strap shows minor signs of wear. Replacement buckle. Watch was recently serviced and meets expected timekeeping standards.
