Our Perspective:

The Cartier Santos de Cartier Ref. WSSA0061 brings a fresh take to one of the brand's most recognizable designs with its graduated green sunray dial. Crafted in stainless steel, the Medium model measures 35.1 × 41.9mm and 8.8mm thick, retaining the classic square case, exposed screws, and integrated bracelet that have defined the Santos for decades. In our opinion, the Medium is the sweet spot of the modern Santos lineup, with proportions that work on just about any wrist and wear much closer to the vintage models than the larger contemporary offerings.

The deep green dial shifts beautifully depending on the lighting, ranging from a near-black to a vibrant emerald green. Powered by Cartier's automatic Calibre 1847 MC, this reference also features the convenient QuickSwitch bracelet system and SmartLink adjustment system. It's a great everyday watch that retains everything we love about the original Santos while adding a bit more personality through its unconventional dial color.

Condition Report:

Case: Watch has been only lightly worn a few times with a few light scratches/hairlines on bezel and a light scratch near 9 o'clock. Case, lugs and caseback show little to no signs of wear otherwise.

Strap/Bracelet: Original Cartier screw bracelet is in strong condition with zero stretch and minimal to no signs of wear. 24 links total and fits a wrist size of 7.25" or smaller. Inside of bracelet has minor contact marks from clasp. Additional strap and buckle has minimal signs of wear.

Dial/Crystal/Hands: Dial, hands and sapphire crystal are clean with no visible signs of wear.

Movement: Automatic Cartier caliber 1847MC sets, runs and keeps time without issues. It is running with a 5-position average of +8.2 S/D | 0.2MS BE | 297° AMP.

Included: Inner & outer Cartier box, undated serialized warranty card, link removal tool, additional green alligator Cartier strap and steel deployant buckle.
