Stainless Steel Tag Heuer Formula 1 [First Series] Watch

Our Perspective:

The Tag Heuer Formula 1 is one of the most important & iconic watches in the Tag Heuer Collection. Originally launched in 1986, these colorful and inexpensive quartz watches that were made in Switzerland quickly gained popularity, and more recently, a cult-like following. This example is a later first series model with an ETA 955.412 Swiss quartz movement. While these watches may be common, this might be the rarest configuration, with a full luminous dial and matching Tag Heuer bracelet- rather than the more common plastic strap. Also, to find one in this condition with a perfect dial and clean bezel is a feat in itself. 

Condition Report:

Very Good vintage condition. Minor scratches throughout case and bracelet. Moderate scratches at clasp. Faint to light scratches at edge of crystal. Lume at dial, hands and bezel show even, natural patina and still glow perfectly. Bezel has minor indentations and fading.
