If you're looking for value in vintage watches, Tudor is one of the best companies to look at. The main reason for this is because Tudor is a sister company of Rolex, and prior to the late 1990s, Tudor shared many parts with Rolex at a fraction of the price. This watch features a case and crown made by Rolex, a reliable Automatic ETA 2824 movement, a solid 18K Yellow Gold fluted bezel and bracelet/clasp reminiscent to a Rolex Jubilee bracelet. After the late 90s, Tudor removed all of these Rolex components and even removed the Rolex-associated "Oyster" branding seen on this dial.
