Our Perspective:
If you're looking for value in vintage watches, Tudor is one of the best companies to look at. The main reason for this is because Tudor is a sister company of Rolex, and prior to the late 1990s, Tudor shared many parts with Rolex at a fraction of the price. This watch features a case and crown made by Rolex, a reliable Automatic ETA 2824 movement, a solid 14K white gold fluted bezel and bracelet/clasp reminiscent to a Rolex Jubilee bracelet. After the late 90s, Tudor removed all of these Rolex components and even removed the Rolex-associated "Oyster" branding seen on this dial.
Condition Report:
Very Good vintage condition. Case and bezel have minor to moderate scratches with extremely sharp lugs and bezel flutes. Dial and hands are in pristine condition. Acrylic has faint scratches near 1 o'clock. Bracelet has light stretch and moderate scratches throughout. Watch was recently professionally serviced and meets expected vintage timekeeping standards.
