Two-Tone Cartier Panthère W25028B8 Medium Model Watch

Our Perspective:

The Panthère de Cartier has been popular since it's release in the 80s. In fact, it has been worn by the likes of Princess Diana, Madonna and Charlie Sheen. The Panthère comes in mini, small, medium and large/jumbo sizes, this example is the classic medium model which measures 27x36mm (lug-to-lug). This model was designed to wear elegantly and comfortably on the wrist, blurring the line between watch and jewelry.

This reference W25028B8 / 110000R is executed in two-tone stainless steel and real 18k yellow gold and features the rarer three-row gold and steel bracelet, giving it a slightly dressier and more refined presence than full steel examples. The silver grained dial has aged beautifully, developing a soft and even cream hue, and is accented by blued steel hands, Roman numeral hour markers, and the discreet Cartier signature hidden at 10 o’clock. A lowkey date window at 5 o’clock adds practicality without disrupting the balance of the dial.

Comfortable, elegant, and unmistakably Cartier, the medium Panthère remains the most timeless and wearable configuration of the model, offering iconic design with subtle character that only comes from age and thoughtful execution.

Condition Report:

Case: Previously polished, but retains visible engravings on caseback and a thick case. Watch has been regularly worn with scratches and dings throughout case and bezel.

Bracelet: Previously polished, medium to heavy scratches and dings throughout. Bracelet has 12 links total with minimal stretch throughout and fits a maximum wrist size of 6” or smaller. Original Cartier Stainless Steel Butterfly Clasp has medium scratches.

Dial/Hands/Crystal: Original Cartier grained silver dial and blued steel hands are in well-preserved condition with only faint signs of age visible under magnification. Sapphire crystal shows medium scratches throughout.

Movement: Quartz Cartier caliber sets, runs and keeps accurate time without issues. Date function works as intended.
